Before signing for it, the best thing you can do is explain the officer about your violation politely and help him relax and feel comfortable. This can decrease your chances to appear in the court and decrease penalty too. Anyone can win anybody’s heart by speaking politely and respectfully, so do not forget to behave in a mannered way because behaving nastily or simply avoiding signing the speeding ticket can take you to court after all, you have been charged for violation of law. The benefit of signing a traffic ticket is that by signing the ticket you feel relaxed and free of tensions. On the other hand some people say that a person is free to sign or refuse to sign a traffic ticket and there are no restrictions regarding this but at the end of the day it is your decision.
