One of the biggest nuisances and the most dangerous things on the road are speeding drivers. The cars that the companies make are very powerful and have the ability to be driven at a speed much more than the permissible limits, which is the root cause of most of the accidents on road. |
When one drives at a fast speed, they do not get sufficient time to react to any sudden disruption on the road which causes accidents. If while speeding, one manages to get a flat tyre the car is bound to go out of control which is very dangerous. In icy and wet conditions, there is less traction and control if you speed which can also result in accidents. Gasoline is not cheap these days and when one speeds the car consumes more of it making it extremely uneconomical.
When one speeds on the road it makes the others around them nervous and causing everybody to brake suddenly. A sudden brake is by itself very dangerous and to add to it if it causes a rear end collision, it is the worst thing to happen as it causes damage to the vehicles and also causes injury to the people.
In some small towns many speed traps are put in place so that one can fine the speeding drivers. In this way many towns earn their living from here. More traps are seen in small towns than in bigger ones. Thus, seeing all the above effects it is most advisable not to speed, unless there is a medical emergency.
